It has always been my choice to join Nursing in NYP. I find nursing as one of the decent job where it requires a lot of courage to go through all the washing of patients' buttock and etc. But at the same time, it makes me a very better person in always believing that I have to help others when they need my help, especially in times where they cannot walk or move around independently. When I first step in, I thought it was all about studying biology and how to do nursing job like how most of the nurses do when they are in the wards, but I was wrong. There were actually more to learn, starting from the most basic things to something that need you to use like critical thinking; where a situation that happens suddenly and you have to think of something to settle it as fast as possible. Some of the subjects that you will be studying apart from Biology are Safety in Healthcare, Family and Community ; where you will learn more about the community and staffs. I like Psychology and I'm sure you will like it too cos Psyhology is fun. But the difficult part is that they have alot of therioes that you have to memorise and stuffs like that. Nursing labaratory where you will know and practice what to do in the ward when you work later on. There are more and I'm sure you will be interested in it just like I am ! Not only that, there's more project to come some time later after a few weeks in school. Working hand in hand, together with your sub-group mates are one of the difficult problem to deal with. That is where you have to choose wisely, which friends in your class that you can really work with and depend on. I'm glad my group for first semester was alright. They have been such a great help, especially my leader, she's a very knowledgable person.

Apart from that, there's attachment at the end of the first semester after exams ended. Six weeks of holiday will be divided into two, 3 weeks of holidays and another 3 weeks of attachments. That is where you will gain experience most. I admit it is really tiring, especially it was your first time working 8 hours without sitting inside the ward ! Yes, it was really TIRING. Although it seems really tough, that is where you meet different patients of yours; some are very kind and really open-minded. There are also some of them who will just kept blaming you when things happen accidently. That is the period where you will get to see the real world of working life in the hospital ! What's more, there's no such thing of giving up when you have taken sponsorship with the hospital itself. Hehh((:

Being a nurse is not as easy as what you think, it really needs alot of encouragement. Like one of my friend's example, due to lack of encouragement, he actually lost focused and wanting to quit at only the beginning of the first year. But he's lucky because he get on track. It's all depend on yourself. If you have interest in it, then join. If not, better don't join or you will regret halfway through semester one, just like my friend.

In conclusion, I really think my school is way better than what I've expected. It's easy for you to make friends with people there, because there are over 30 groups/classes. That is where the classes will be divided into four different groups for lecture. So, that's all I can elaborate. To anonymous, all the best to you for O Levels ! I'm sure you can do well and get what you really want((:

I swear yesterday I was the most happiest girl on earth. I'm not kidding. I met Haizad Imran in school ! Omg, what can I say. It was like love at first sight ! To the extend that I anyhow switch off AtikahLove's laptop when there was no battery inside. Hahahahahah ! I'm really sorry Tikah. Too excited. Hahahahaha ! Nie pun salah Raudah jugak, buat kelakar tak habis-habis sampai aku jadi gila. Hehh -.-"


I'm not kidding, when I saw him, I was already telling Tikah, Raudah and Haziqah that he was there. Omg ! I cannot believe my eyes ! He was even good looking in person ! Walao, I sounded like one paranoid girl sia. Hahaahahahaha ! Oh yah ! To anonymous, it will be good if you school at NYP, you can see Haizad Imran. hahahahaahaah, kidding only.


Well, second weeks of school and I'm getting even slacker. My group was rushing for last minute homework. See ! what a bad leader I am, I admit. It was my first, so give me chance yea. Hehh. I'm getting to love my classmates. There's nothing more for me to say here. It's all been the same all along in school. Next week tutorial and lab session for bio will be e-learning. Yessssss ! hahahahaha.
